About
Tom and Ohokulani (Hoku), together with their sons, Timothy and Elias, live on the beautiful island of Maui.
Ohokulani was raised on the nearby Hawaiian island of Molokai. She has been serving with YWAM off and on since 1990. She has completed the Introduction to Biblical Counseling School and the School of Biblical Studies through the University of the Nations.
Tom is originally from Minnesota and his ministry focus has been primarily missions and dealing with apologetics and worldview issues. Tom and Ohokulani’s ministry experience has been mainly missions work within YWAM. Tom is currently the director of Youth With A Mission-Maui and a distance education instructor for International Biblical Online Leadership Training (IBOLT) in Edmonton, Alberta.
Timmy is in 6th grade and loves to play with Legos and to read books about science. This year he has also taken an interest in sports; playing on the school’s volley ball team. His 11th birthday was September 15. Elias is 5 years old and loves to run, jump, climb, and listen to music of almost any kind. His vocabulary continues to grow along with his personality.

Just found your website. It is good, but how about a link to it from the ywammaui.com website?
We would like to see more of the gorgeous pictures of your family and the area where you work.
Keep promoting missions.
Will keep praying for your future endeavors.

Found your website when I went looking for info in the Osterhus Family. My mother was Leta Mavis Knutson (sometimes called Osterhus). Are you part of Cyrus and Ruth’s family? I remember them as a child. My great-greatfather was Jacob Osterhus sometimes called Knutson.
I was ordained 22 years ago so………….

Bula vinaka Tom & Oho,
I am totally impressed with the web site for Maui…it brought back a lot of great memories for me during the years I spent there. Maui will always be home to me. It is my dream that I would bring my family to visit the place of my spiritual roots, the place where my journey with God really began.
